Albert John Sterken, age 93, of Grandville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 8, 2021. He retired from Keeler Brass after 44 years. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy; second wife, Mary Bush Sterken; grandson, Dan Sterken; brothers, Donald Sterken, and Roland Sterken. Albert will be lovingly remembered by his children, Bob and Janet Sterken, Dick and Carol Sterken, Jack Sterken, Peggy and Jack Vredevoogd, David Sterken, Richard and Marcy Sterken, Amy and David Thompson; 17 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Gloria Sharp, Patsy Pew; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 13, 11 am at Chapel Pointe, 3350 Baldwin Ave, Hudsonville, with Rev. Mark Manzer officiating. Burial Grandville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Monday 5-8 pm at Chapel Pointe. Masks are required.
