Albert Dick Mauk, age 94, of Grand Rapids, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, May 29, 2019. Al was preceded in death by his wife, Frances; one brother and two sisters.  Al is survived by his children, Marie and Curt VanderKooi and Marlene and John Livingston; grandchildren, Sarah and Matthew Hudson, Rebecca and Greg Dailey, Nick VanderKooi; great grandchildren, Noah, and Lukas Hudson, Evelyn Dailey; sister, Rebecca DeLong; extended family and friends.  Al proudly served in the US Army during World War II. He worked for Guardsmen Chemical for 40 years. Al was active in Bible Study and Prayer Team for many years at Unity Reformed Church as well as volunteering distributing Words of Hope devotion books.  He also ran for many years having completed his last River Bank Run when he was 65 years old. Graveside services will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens on Monday, June 3 at 10:30am (meet near the Office at 10:15am), with Rev. Mark Bergsma officiating.  Memorial contributions may be made to Unity Reformed Church.
