Albert “Al” Landheer

Albert “Al” Landheer, age 87, of Jenison, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2017. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Bryan Eden. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 67 years, Liz; children, Sandra and Robert Ortiz, Randy and Diane Landheer, Alan and Jeri Landheer, Susan and Todd Timmerman; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; brother, Rix and Ellie Landheer; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Al retired from Steelcase after serving for over 30 years. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 19 at 11:00 am at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 3152 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, with Rev. Lee Welker officiating. The family would like to express their thanks to Faith Hospice for the wonderful care they gave to Al. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Gethsemane Lutheran Church.

To Liz and Sandi, Randi, Alan and Sue, please accept my sincere condolences upon this loss. I remember Al so well. I appreciate very much the unerring kindness, dignity and warmth that he shared with me and my family. It was my privilege to know Al.
