STRAUB - Alan M. Straub aged 25 of Cedar Springs, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, April 29, 2014. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Constance Richards, Richard and Junerose Straub; aunt and uncle, Candie and Gary Bieber; cousins, Richard "Ricky" Baki, Becky Harasim; close family friend, Vincent "Vincy" VanEck. Surviving are his children, Justin Alan and Mya May Straub; parents, Richard and Peggy Straub; brothers, Richard "Ricky" (Amy), Ray (Becky Moore) Straub; grandfather, Ray Richards; fiancee, Kristen deVuyst; aunts and uncles, Pam Reffruschinni, Penny Richards, Patty Wiganusky, Judy Straub, Elaine (Jerry) Samples, Mel (Jeanne) Straub, Barbara (Deon) Holliman, Junerose (Frank) Speth, Phillipp Straub, Emmagene (Sam) Straub-Hill and their families. Alan was proudly employed at the Meijer Store in Cedar Springs. A celebration of Alan's life will be held 11:00AM Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr. NE., Belmont. His family will greet relatives and friends one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral chapel to help his family with expenses.
