Agnes Ellens

Agnes Mae Ellens went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 10, 2022. Agnes was born December 1, 1933, in Grand Rapids to Peter and Clara Yonker. Agnes was married to her dear husband Sidney for 67 years, before his passing in July 2020. Together they raised four children. After raising their children, Agnes worked for Sunset Manor for 15 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, David and Pat Ellens, Pat and Don VanderZee, Don and Char Ellens, Rev. Mark and Diane Ellens; ten grandchildren, Ben and Ashley Ellens, Jon and Laura Ellens, Sarah Ellens, Nick and Sara VanderZee, Jessica and Jason Sytsma, Leah and Troy DeWitt, Heather and Kirk Noteboom, Broc and Alissa Ellens, Nathan and Priscilla Ellens, Christopher and Greichaly Ellens; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Milly Wolters; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Nancy Yonker, Lee Yonker, Gordon and Judy Ellens; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at 11 am at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Rev. Mark Ellens officiating. Burial Hanley Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family from 10 - 10:45 am prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice.
