Adriana Edsall

Adriana “Ann” Edsall (Vandenberg), aged 85 of Dorr, passed away peacefully and went to be with Jesus on Monday, October 3, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, and 6 siblings. She served her Lord with her time and talents in various church activities and also volunteered at Project Hope. She will be lovingly remembered by her son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Michelle Edsall and their family, Ariel Mello and Travis, Shanda and special friend, Chris, Austin, Nicholas, and Alexandria; her siblings, Al, Kath, and Divina; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Saturday 3 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday from 2-3pm at the funeral home prior to the service.

To my dear friend Ann. Very shortly after Don died, Ann came to our ladies Biblle Study at Dorr Christian Reformed church. I don't believe she knew anyone, not sure. Ann and I got the giggles and really hit it off good. I believe it was that first day someone mentioned they needed a couple of ladies to work in a thrift store to carry on Annetta Jansen's work she had started in her home. Ann and I decided we would really like to do this. Three locations later we finally both decided we were getting too old. I'm not sure if it was 12 to 15 years, but we enjoyed every Tuesday we worked! She was a very great friend, who I could share all my joys and sadnesses with, and always knew it would go no further. She made me very HAPPY! I will miss her!
