Adeline Katherine Verwolf

Adeline Katherine (Goris) Verwolf, age 90, departed this earth on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, to join her Father in Heaven, her husband, and many other loved ones. She leaves behind family and friends who celebrate her life of faith and love.

Adeline was born on June 1, 1933, to Amos and Adelia (Van Buren) in Sacred Heart, Minnesota. She graduated from Western Christian High School in Hull, Iowa and attended Calvin University before she met and married the love of her life, John Verwolf in 1954. Together John and Adeline raised a family of four children, Donna (Gary) Turner, Deb (Mike) Voorhorst, David (Sandi) Verwolf and Doug (Kathie) Verwolf. Adeline will also be missed by her 12 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Adeline was a prayer warrior for her family and her faith was evident to all who knew her.

Adeline was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, John, in 2019, and her siblings Lorraine Klamer, Robert D. Goris, and Gloria Stronks.

Adeline is a beloved daughter of her Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. Psalm 49:15 “ God has redeemed her life from the grave and has taken her to Himself”

A private family graveside service was held; a service of remembrance of Adeline’s life to be held November 22, 2023 from 3 pm to 4 pm in the Raybrook Chapel.
