Shirley Hamming

Shirley Ann Hamming, age 82, of Jenison, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, February 14, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Alfred Hamming; granddaughter, Rachel Hamming; and sister, Mary Walters.  She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Rick and Shirley Hamming, Kathy and Carl Hill, Lori Katerberg, Sue Kroft; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Janice and Delbert Hoffman; brother, Walter and Sharon Van Klompenberg; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Mary Hamming, Phil and Marcia Hamming, Eugene Walters.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2020, at 11 a.m. at Jamestown Baptist Church, 2472 Quincy St., Hudsonville, with Pastor Shawn DeJong and Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating. Interment will be held at Floral View Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the church.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Spectrum Health Hospice.
