Michael Wayne Nygaard, age 64, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2018. He is survived by his children, Eric and Elsa Nygaard, Christopher and Diana Nygaard, Michael and Nicholle Nygaard; grandchildren, Frank and Jessie Nygaard, Jake and Nick Bohn, Kayla and Autumn Nygaard, Cameron Nygaard; stepsons, Jason Lovely and Bill Lovely; brother, Patrick Tisdale and Susan Carver. Mike proudly served in the US Army during Vietnam. He retired from Leon Plastics after many years of service. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no services. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Grand Rapids Home for Veterans.
