Joyce Elaine Mikita

Joyce Elaine Mikita, age 88, of Jenison, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2016, surrounded by her sons, to be with her beloved husband of 60 years, Walter. They enjoyed spending the winters in Florida and were fortunate to do so for many years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, David and Nancy Mikita, Michael and Cheryl Mikita, Thomas and Darla Mikita; her 5 grandchildren, Tanya (Jim) Johns, Sarah (Dan) Dabrowski, Beth (Gordy) Lauren, Lindsay Mikita, Dan (Ashley) Mikita; 7 great grandchildren, Ray, Collin, Taylor, Charlie, Carter, Kylyn, and Kendan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter and great granddaughter, Kenley Dabrowski. The family wishes to thank those who cared for Joyce preceding her death, including the very professional and caring staff at Vista Springs Wyoming and Faith Hospice. A private service for immediate family has taken place.
