We were so sorry to learn of Aunt Sally's passing. We spent a lovely afternoon visiting with her and Uncle Ken in 2014 at a time when she was not in pain. Our thoughts and prayers are with Uncle Ken and her family during this time of sorrow.

I am humbled to consider myself and my personal faith in Jesus Christ to be a part of the legacy of Aunt Sally Postma. I was in her sunday school class somewhere around 1970 and, growing up in Peace Church, every youngster I knew there started their journey in Aunt Sally's sunday school class. By her faithful and consistent service year after year, Aunt Sally's example continued to instruct me up to and beyond the day I left Peace Church to attend college in the 1980s. Aunt Sally, along with Uncle Ken, remains in my mind to this day as an exemplary model of faithful service to Christ and his church. The footprint of Aunt Sally's impact is immense and the riches she left as her legacy are profound because of the faithful way she invested in the little ones Jesus loves so much. What a blessing that God raised up an "Aunt Sally" for us. Let's take this occasion to pray that he will raise up many more like her because every child should have an "Aunt Sally". I can only smile when I picture Aunt Sally's arrival in heaven. Greeted by the perfect love of her savior and the words, "well done". When I see her there someday, I need to tell her the same thing.
