Beverly Jean DeYoung

Beverly Jean DeYoung, age 83, of Wyoming, passed peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, December 1, 2018, where we take comfort in knowing that she is resting and sleeping, awaiting the day for her Lord to return. She was preceded in death by her parents, her three sisters, and one brother. Beverly was a loving mom, grandma, and great-grandma who cherished and was proud of  her family. She dedicated her life to raising her children, where she challenged them to always strive to be the best at what they could be. She attended the Central Seventh Day Adventist Church in Grand Rapids where she served with her time and talents in many ways. She was the owner of BD Cleaning Services, establishing many relationships over the years with customers both residential and commercial. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Denise and Bruce Scott, Jamie and Dave Patchin, Janet and Tom Renton, Jack DeYoung, Dyan and Ken Max; 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Hall; many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2018, at 11:00 am at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Robert Stewart officiating.  Interment Rosedale Memorial Park.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 5-8 pm at the funeral home.
