Zachary Visser

Zachary Ryan Visser, age 28, of Middleville, formerly of Jenison, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, doing what he loved, hunting, and is now with his Lord and Savior. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lois Tigchon, and Harriet and Gerald Visser. Zach will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Grace; parents, Jerry and Jan Visser; brothers, Branden and Maeleah Visser, Justin Visser, Nick Visser; niece and nephews, Reid, Audrey, Lucas, Judah, Weston, and Heath; mother-in-law, Lara Hull; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Nick Placencia, Casey Placencia, and Claire Hull; several aunts and uncles and many dear friends. Zach was a caring and devoted husband to his wife, Grace. He enjoyed being outside, especially fishing, hunting, camping, golfing and disc golfing. He also enjoyed woodworking, and he loved spending time with wife, his friends and family, and his dogs Apollo and Athena. His friends and family would describe him as reserved, but with a goofy side. He was good at making you laugh even if you didn’t feel like laughing. Zach was empathetic to those he interacted with and was a good leader. While working at Autocam Medical, his coworkers saw him as a problem solver and someone they could rely on. Funeral services will be held at 5 pm on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Cornerstone Church, 1675 84th St. SE, Caledonia with Pastor Ken Nash officiating. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Tuesday, December 3 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. An additional time of visitation will be held from 4-4:45 pm at the church on Wednesday. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Hunt 2 Heal.
