Xzavier Anthony Gust, best known as X, age 14, of Jenison, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 20, 2018. He will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Nathan and Kelly Freeman; his brothers and sisters, Lexi, Joslynn, Jayce, Cruz; stepbrother, Bentley; grandparents and many loving extended family and friends.
X was always looked up to as a friend that could make you smile if you were having a bad day. Whether it was with his unique silly laugh and giggle, just acting goofy, randomly dancing with or without music; he loved life. Xzavier also had a love and passion for basketball, something that he was naturally good at and had dreams to go pro. Basketball was a huge part of his life and who he was. He would play anywhere and with anyone – even with his younger siblings on a plastic children’s hoop. He was content to be either the star of the party or just one of the guys. Man, did he love his thick messy hair..; He loved all his siblings and he was fiercely protective of them. Even though he was younger than Lexi, they were best friends and he would refer to himself as her older brother to keep her in line. He will be missed bursting through the door at any time, sitting around with friends, playing Fortnite, coaching his siblings in video games and basketball, and doing his best to make others smile.
Fly high X till we meet again. Love you to the moon and back…
