Wilma Courson

Wilma Mae Courson, age 90, of Wyoming, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 28, 2024. Wilma was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She served in the Women’s Army Corps during the Korean War. She then became a registered nurse at St. Mary’s for many years. In Wilma’s spare time, she enjoyed caring for her yard and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Llewellyn Courson; son-in-law, Chuck Krieve; and seven siblings. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Kimberly and Masato Endo, Michael and Sue Courson; stepchildren, Sandra Krieve, Randy and Sherry Voss; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Calvin Brinks; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 3, at 11 a.m. at Eighth Reformed Church, 841 Burton St. SW, Wyoming, with Rev. Harry Koops and Rev. Eildert Zwart officiating. The burial will take place at Winchester Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday, February 2, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW.
