William Warren

William Snell Warren, age 88, of Lake Isabella, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, November 18, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Beulah Warren; son, William F. (Jessie) Warren; brother, Jerry (Laverne) Warren; sister, June (Harold) Sanborn. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 38 years, Sue; sons, Gregory (Sandy) Warren, James Warren; grandchildren, Matthew (Liz), Kyle, Jared (Trish), Brian, Arielle (Nate), Nicholas, Allisun, and Joseph; several great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Gloria (Delbert) Johnson and many special nieces with their families. Bill retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years of service. He also retired from 28 years at Steelcase. Bill enjoyed traveling, and spending Michigan winters in Arizona with his wife. A humble and simple man, he will be remembered for his kindness and willingness to help anyone in need. He was a loving father, grandpa, and uncle, and cherished spending time with his family. Bill will be greatly missed for his genuine interest in others, his friendship, and love for his family. Special appreciation is extended to Bill’s heart doctor, Dr. Matthew Sevensma, and his caregivers from Faith Hospice. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating. The burial will take place at Floral View Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family for visitation Tuesday from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Youth Haven in Rives Junction.
