William Restau

William M. Restau, age 84 of Byron Center, passed away Friday, November 28, 2025 at his home.  He was born November 21, 1941 to the late Marvin and Wanda Restau.  Throughout his life, Bill, was an avid  accomplished golfer winning the 1974 City Amateur at Blythefield Country Club.  Bill made life long friendships with many of his golfing buddies which were very important to him.  Later in life he enjoyed playing the game with his two sons sharing his passion.  Bill enjoyed traveling and watching his grandchildren play sports over the years as well. He will be lovingly remembered by his two sons: Chris (Cheryl) Restau, T.J. (Randi) Restau; eight grandchildren: Courtney (Aaron) Wellman, Zachary Restau, Tyler (Haley) Restau, Kyle (Karina) Restau, Casey Restau, Rian Restau, Robert Restau, and Shawn Restau.  Also surviving are four great-grandchildren: Luke, Charlotte, Rowan and Emersyn; and one brother, Bruce Jay Restau. In accordance with the family wishes, cremation has taken place.
