William Joseph Swiderski

William Joseph Swiderski, age 74, of Cascade was called to his heavenly home on Wednesday, July 19, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Matilda Swiderski. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Deborah; daughters, Diana McDonald, Jennifer (Domingo) Castillo; grandchildren, Payton, Morgan, Whitney, Ryan, Roman, Blake, Isabella; great grandson, Myles; sisters, Mary (Chris) Anderson, Linda (Bob) Vesely. Bill valiantly served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and was a proud member of the UAW local 730. Bill was a kind, loving, caring husband, father and grandfather. He was a quiet, friendly man who loved to build things and help other people. He enjoyed fishing from his boat. Bill was an excellent golfer and a perfectionist when it came to his yard, house and cars. He could fix anything. Bill retired from GM Fisher Body Stamping Plant after over 30 years of service. Bill’s handshake was his word and could be counted on to carry through on a promise. A time of visitation with Bill’s family will be held on Tuesday, July 25 from 5 - 7 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the American Heart Association.
