William H. Mulder, age 100, went home to Heaven to join his Savior, Jesus Christ on June 25, 2016. Bill was born September 11, 1915 and was the youngest son of Herman and Emma Mulder. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice; sons, James and Jack Mulder; and grandson, Joseph Mulder. He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Joyce and Marvin Dykstra, Thomas and Roberta Mulder, Donald and Carole Mulder, Steven and Joann Mulder, Ellen and Kyle Johnson; daughter-in-law, Leslie Mulder; grandchildren: Joni and Bruce Reid, David Dykstra, Betsy Dykstra, Kerri and Steve Major, Kate and Kevin Finney, Erika and Craig Singer, Jeff and Marsha Mulder, Brian and Chris Mulder, Amy and Brandon Mack, Tara and Jeff Tubergen, Brad and Julie Mulder, Greg and Jill Mulder, Karen and Allen Rech, Joel and Sarah Mulder, Theresa Mulder, Benjamin and Nicole Johnson, Alison and Brent Whittaker, Davis Johnson, and Derek Johnson; and 34 great grandchildren. Bill was a man of strong integrity and unwavering faith in his love for the Lord. With a lifelong interest in learning, his hobbies included writing poetry, short stories, and music, as well as collecting stamps, arrowheads, and coins. His joy for the written word led to several published devotional books later in life. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Raybrook Manor Chapel, 2121 Raybrook SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546. Relatives and friends may visit the family from 3-7:00 pm on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood, MI 49508 or one hour prior to the service at Raybrook Manor Chapel on Thursday.
