William Dean VanderWal, age 87, of Jenison, went to be with the Lord of Friday, October 16, 2015. Bill proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Agnes VanderWal; son, Craig VanderWal; brother, Edward VanderWal; sister, Margarite VanderWal. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years, Lorraine; daughter, Deb (Jim Klompstra) Lee; son, Don (Sharon) VanderWal; daughter-in-law, Linda VanderWal; grandchildren, Kelly, Sara (Charles), Caleb, Megan, Stephanie, Amanda, Jennifer, Michael; great grandchildren, Brayden, Angelica, Brenden, Charles Jr. “P.J.”; brother, Jim (Hilda) VanderWal; sister-in-law, Lois VanderWal. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday 2 PM at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive SW. Interment Rosedale Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday from 1-2 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
