Vivian Gladys Anderson

Vivian Anderson, age  91, of Grand Rapids, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Linda (Keith) DePotty, Brenda (Mark) Hiemstra, Karen Fleming; and her 45 grandchildren, great and great great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband William “Bill” and son, William Anderson II “Bill”; 2 grandchildren, Corey Anderson and Timothy Hiemstra; and many siblings. Vivian loved her family and particularly her grandchildren. She loved being involved with her church, traveling, hosting family and friends, and spending time with her cats. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at Banner of Christ Church, 1111 68th St. Byron Center, with Rev. Michael Caley officiating. Burial will be held at Winchester Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may greet the family on Tuesday one hour prior to the start of the service from 10-11am. Those who wish, may make memorial contributions to Banner of Christ Church.
