Virginia Mardell Dood

Virginia Mardell Dood, age 97, passed away on Wednesday February 2, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Helen Coleman; husband, Clarence Dood; daughter, Sandra Brown. Virginia will be lovingly remembered by her children, Jim and Gwen Dood, Julie and Bruce Pratt, Scott Dood; son-in-law, Tony Brown: 13 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren. Virginia was a past president of American Legion Auxiliary Unit 381 She enjoyed many activities with friends and family including fishing, golfing, and bowling. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 9,2022, at 11 am at MKD Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Drive NE, Belmont, MI 49306, with Rev Linda Looney officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends, Tuesday, from 6 to 8 pm and one hour prior to the funeral on Wednesday at the funeral chapel. Burial will be at Blythefield Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 381 Scholarship Fund.
