Zeboor, Virginia Virginia (Ginny) Ann Zeboor, age 76, passed away on October 1, 2014 at The Lodge at Maple Creek after a long battle with dementia. Ginny was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Anne Zeboor, nephews Russell Zeboor, Joey Rysdyk and her beloved dog Cassidy. She is survived by her brother, Jerry (Emilie) Zeboor, sister, Janet Zeboor, brother Tony (June) Zeboor, “adopted” sister, Jan Eckwielen; aunt Sybil Feltmeyer; uncle Mick (Luan) Dola and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. After graduating from Western Michigan University, Ginny taught school in both Detroit and California. After moving to Chicago she obtained a Masters Degree in Management from Northwestern University and worked for Sears and Hollister. She was an avid reader, loved to travel the world and loved to watch the Detroit Tigers and Chicago Bears with her friend Doc Jane Caseley. A memorial service will be held at the Maple Creek Lodge for residents October 6, 2014 at 12:30 PM. For all other family and friends a celebration of Ginnys life will be held 1:00 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Kentwood) 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE on Sunday, October 12, 2014. A memorial visitation will be held Sunday from 12:00 to 1:00 at the funeral home. According to Ginny’s wishes cremation has taken place. The family would like to thank the staff at Maple Creek and Gentiva Hospice for the loving care given to Ginny. A special thanks to Maple Creek Chaplain, Rebecca Ebb-Speese and Gentiva Spiritual Care Coordinator, Mary Vaccaro, for the comfort they gave Ginny in her final days.
