Virgilene Freida Balazs

Virgilene Balazs, age 91, of Kentwood formerly Midland, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 30, 2024. Virg was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Family always came first for Virg and she loved to share stories of her past with her children and grandchildren. She  will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Conrad (Connie); parents; brother and sisters, Louis Giovanelli, Theresa  Grecu, Margaret Bryan; and their spouses. She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Robert (Lisa) Balazs of Birmingham, AL; daughter, Lisa (Michael) Willerer of Grand Rapids, MI; her four grandchildren, Quinn Balazs, Kari Balazs, Maddie (Cameron) Morris, and Tara Willerer; great-grandchildren, Cameron Jr. and Lenora; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 11am Tuesday, December 10, 2024  at  Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming, with Fr. Peter Vu officiating.  Burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday, December 10 from 10-11 am at  Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Kent County Salvation Army.
