
Viola Lukas, age 98, of Wyoming Michigan passed away peacefully to be with her Lord on Thursday, March 26 2026. She found great joy in the outdoors and cherished her time knitting and quilting at church, along with traveling, camping, doing puzzles, and trips to the casino.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew and dear companion, Ronald Kobel and Dick Whitman; sisters, Dorine (Ray) Disney, Marlene (Ray) Smith, brothers, Edward (Pat) Smith and Jack (Sukie) Smith and Ted (Linda) Kadish, son baby, Andrew Lukasiewicz, great grandchildren, Christian Goudy, Gabriel Murphy, Maria Murphy, grandson in law, Mark Goudy
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Trudy Lee (Jim) Wilson of Byron Center, Edmund (Karen Fairfield) Lukasiewicz of Wyoming; grandchildren, Toni (Dale) Karsten, Tobi (John) Murphy, Marc Wilson, Kristen (Karen) Lukasiewicz, Jennifer (Sean) Lukasiewicz; great grandchildren, Timothy, Stephanie (Cody), Delaney, Chase, Bryce, Kaydence, Sylvia; great great grandchildren, Evelyn, Westley, Kevin, Trent, Hayden; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held 11 am Saturday, April 11 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Kentwood with Rev. Dennis Gilbert officiating. Burial will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family an hour before the service from 10-11. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. Judes Children’s Hospital.
