Victor Robert Katsma

Victor Robert Katsma, age 86, of Grand Rapids, went to be with his Lord on Friday, January 1, 2016. He proudly served his country in the US Army. He was a lifelong member of Eighth Reformed Church. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 65 years, Mary Katsma; daughters, Deb and John Flietstra, Jr., Ruth and Craig Groendyk; grandchildren, Betsy Groendyk, John III and Kristi Flietstra, Michael and Rebecca Groendyk, Benjamin Flietstra, Jill Flietstra; brothers, Russell and Mollie Katsma, Robert and Sandy Katsma; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Helen Landstra, Richard and Eleanor Landstra, Larry and Karen Landstra; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday 10:30 am at Eighth Reformed Church, 841 Burton St. SW, Wyoming, with Rev. Lew Vander Meer and Rev. Robert Langenberg officiating. Interment Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 5-8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW.
