Tyler Anthon Hemmes

Hemmes, Tyler Anthon Tyler Anthon Hemmes, age 26, of Jenison, left this life on Saturday, November 8, 2014 due to accidental injuries and was welcomed by Jesus, his Savior, in his new forever home.  Tyler was a great son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, friend and will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.  Tyler was preceded in death by his grandmother, Henrietta Hemmes.  Tyler is survived by his parents, Brad and Jill; his sister, Chelsea; brother, Cooper; grandparents, Anthon “Bud” Hemmes, Curt and Shirley VanHouten; several uncles and aunts, cousins, countless friends and his dog, Marley.   His contagious laugh, outgoing personality and love of sports will be missed by those who knew and loved him.  A celebration of Tyler’s life will be held on Thursday, Nov. 13, at 11 am at Harbor Life Church, 3085 Wallace Ave. SW, Grandville.  Interment Grandville Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 4-8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW.  In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Harbor Life Church.
