Timothy Sturgeon

Timothy A. Sturgeon, age 54, of Hudsonville, entered into the presence of his Savior on Sunday, November 22, 2020, after an 8-month battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Sturgeon; and his mother-in-law, Barbara Grubbs. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 32 years, Kimberly Sturgeon; children, Joshua and Rebecca Sturgeon (granddaughters, Molly and Ezri), Drew and Tiffany Sturgeon, Caleb and Nicole Sturgeon, Evan Sturgeon and his girlfriend, Andrea Lowing, Kujtim Sturgeon; mother, Marguerite Sturgeon; brother, Thomas and Shelly Sturgeon; father-in-law, Philip and Becky Grubbs; brother-in-law, Jason and Beverly Grubbs; nephews, Zac and Jessica Sturgeon, Clay Sturgeon. Tim’s faith in Christ was central in his life and was unwavering even as he battled with his illness. He cared deeply for his family and would use ordinary daily moments as teachable opportunities for his sons. Tim was a dedicated employee at Meijer for 37 years, continuing to work despite his illness. The family will be celebrating Tim’s life with a private graveside service at Georgetown Township Cemetery.
