Timothy Pipe

Timothy Pipe Sr. was taken to his heavenly home on Monday, February 23, 2026, at the age of 79. He is survived by his beloved wife, Lois (Engelsma), to whom he was married for 55 years. He is also survived by his six children, Erika and Bill Atwood, Jill and Scott Riemersma, Tim and Julie (Brummel) Pipe, Tyler and Michelle (Streyle) Pipe, Lindsay and Michael Kerkstra, Jordan and Anna Mae (Kamps) Pipe; 24 beloved grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; brothers, Theodore and Jane Pipe, William and Karen Pipe; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Prof. David and Ruth Engelsma, MaryBeth and Lammert Lubbers, Lenore Cook, Michael and Brenda Engelsma, John Flikkema, Jonathan and Floretta Engelsma, Mark and Deb Engelsma, Elizabeth and Edward Ophoff, Kenneth and Pamela Engelsma, Sara and Mark Looyenga, Jordan and Amy Engelsma; and many dear nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Ruthanne Flikkema; and brother-in-law, Donald Cook.

Tim was a life-long member of the Protestant Reformed Churches, serving as a deacon or elder many times. He also served on school boards and foundations. Tim lived his life knowing that he was saved by the grace of his Savior Jesus Christ. 

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, February 26, at Trinity Protestant Reformed Church, 3385 Van Buren St., Hudsonville, with Rev. Jacob Maatman officiating. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 4-6:45 p.m. at the church prior to the service. A private family graveside service will be held on Thursday morning at River Bend Cemetery.
