Tiffany Kidwell

Tiffany Kidwell, age 38, of Grand Rapids, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 28, 2024. Tiffany was one of the most thoughtful people you could ever meet with the biggest heart. She often thought of others before she thought of herself. When her Grandpa Nardin passed away in 2018, Tiffany promised her grandma that she would call her every day and she did. One of her favorite things to do was her Saturday adventures with David. They would drive up to three hours and go to arcades, Mackinac Island, and to animal experiences (usually a zoo). She never forgot a special day, whether it was a birthday, anniversary, or any other special occasion, she would always call that person to let them know that she was thinking about them. Tiffany was very particular about who she was friends with but when she made those friendships she was incredibly loyal to them. She was an avid writer and planner who always had the plans written out, sometimes months in advance. One of her best qualities was her talent in gift giving. When her mom’s husband died, she made sure to get her mom a Valentines Day gift every year after. More than anything though, Tiffany loved and cherished her family. They were her closest friends, and her death has left a hole in the family that cannot be filled. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, David; grandparents, Diane Nardin, Gerald and Susan Luke; mother and stepfather, Karyn deWit-Midgley and Chris Midgely; father, Douglas Luke; siblings, Elisha Luke, Solomon (Joya) Luke, Mikeala deWit, Christian deWit, Isaiah deWit, Tabitha deWit-Midgeley; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 3 pm on Sunday, October 6, 2024 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Mat McCluer officiating. Burial will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Thursday, October 3 from 5-8 pm and Sunday, October 6 an hour prior to the service from 2-3 pm all at the funeral home.
