Thomas Wayne Moore

Thomas Wayne Moore, aged 68 of Wyoming, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, July 30, 2017. Tom is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Jane (VanderWal) Moore; children, Barb (Brad) Selvig, Michael Moore; step-children, Lori (Karl Domeier) Nadwodnik, Lynn (Ken) Griffey; grandchildren, Ashley, Victoria, Ryan, Jessup, Amber; sisters, Kathy Worden, Sue (Mark) Malec; sisters-in-law, Marilyn (James) Rewa, Sharon (Rich) Pastars; brother-in-law, Jack (Joann) VanderWal; and many nieces and nephews. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Otto Moore and Mary Adams; brother, David Moore; and parents-in-law, Harold and Jaqueline VanderWal. Tom proudly served his country in the US Army in Vietnam. He retired from General Motors, working the majority of his career at the Fisher Body Plant on Alpine. Tom loved his family deeply. His other interests included hunting, riding motorcycles, an occasional trip to the casino, and the Detroit Tigers. Funeral services for Tom will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4145 Chicago Drive, Grandville with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10-11 am prior to the service.
