Thomas Norris

Thomas R. Norris, age 75, of Wyoming, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023. He was born December 15, 1947, to the late Ralph and Gladys Norris. Tom graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School and later Lawrence Technological Institute. He had a lifelong career in construction and architecture with a passion for project management, design, and innovation. Tom enjoyed traveling with Nonda, his partner for nearly 30 years, line dancing, drawing, and working on his home. He is survived by his life partner, Nonda Collard; two daughters, Jill Norris, Rachel (Adam) Naylor; step-children, Russell Collard III, Battina Collard; grandchildren, Miles Chisholm, Luca Chisholm, Oscar Naylor, Teddy Naylor, and Caia Collard; and his two sisters, Ellen Norris and Beth Jarve. According to Tom’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a donation to Lawrence Technological University’s Education Fund.
