Thomas Joseph Philbin, Jr.

Thomas Joseph Philbin, Jr., age 88, of Grand Rapids went to be with his Lord on Monday, April 21, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas J., Sr. and Dorothy; sister, Joellyn Philbin. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 51 years, Elisa; daughter, Annalissa Philbin and Daniel Shay; son, Roland Anthony Philbin; daughter, Jessica Lyn and Steve Nagle; 2 grandchildren, Kaitlyn Shay, Brandon Shay; extended family and friends. Faith was important to Tom and he was a missionary in the Philippines where he met his wife. He later worked for, and retired from, Butterworth Hospital as a Pharmacy Tech. He enjoyed spending time with his family and he will be dearly missed. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 am Monday, April 28 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church with Rev. David Jameson celebrant.  Burial will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family from 10-10:45 am on Monday prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a Mass Intention in his name.
