Theodore “Ted” Thomas

Theodore “Ted” R. Thomas, aged 65 of Wyoming, passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2019. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann; parents, Edward and Mary Rose; brother, James Thomas; sisters-in-law, Toni Thomas, Michele Thomas; niece and goddaughter, Gina Thomas; godparents, Marv and Kathy Weber.  He is survived by 10 siblings, Jeanne (Francois) Renaud, Robert Thomas, Larry (Lois) Thomas, Anne (Tom) Debri, Elizabeth Thomas (Tom Morgan), Karen (Randey) Palmer, Susan (Bill) Bauman, John Thomas, Mary (Gus) Sweetland, Richard (Lisa) Thomas; special niece and nephew, Michelle (Israel) Muñoz and their children: Evelin, Leonardo; Jason (Kristen) Thomas and their children: Blake, Kasey; aunts, Elsie Calogaro, Betty Greenwell; many nieces, nephews and cousins.  Ted was a longtime employee of Advance Packaging.  He and Mary loved to travel and enjoyed casinos.  He also loved eating Mexican and Chinese food.  A Memorial Mass will be held 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at St. John Vianney Church, 4101 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming with Fr. John Vallier presiding. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Monday from 4-7 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Ave. SW, Wyoming, and also at the church on Tuesday one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John Vianney Foundation or Spectrum Health Hospice.
