Tettje “Thea” Beintema

Tettje “Thea” Beintema, age 84, of Hudsonville.went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 16, 2023. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Matthew Beintema. She was a wonderful wife, mother, beppe, and a friend to all. Thea had a servant’s heart, volunteered in various capacities, but especially thrived on serving and loving her family. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 64 years, Pieter; children, Char and John Pierce, Peter and Martha Beintema, Margaret Beintema, Michelle Jones and David Hume, 11 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Gerry Kuiper, Fred and Cheryl Braam, George and Harriet Braam, Sue and Dennis Sorenson, Jim and Donna Braam; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Shawn Hulst officiating. Burial will take place at Floral View Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday, June 20 from 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Those who wish to make memorial contributions are asked to consider the needs of the family.
