Diana Geisel

Diana J. Geisel, age 76, of the Hudsonville area, has fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith, and was called home to be with Jesus on Sunday, June 21, 2026. 

Diana was a kind and loving woman who demonstrated the love of Jesus in the way she lived each day. With a strong and unwavering faith, she exemplified Christ through her words, actions, and the example she set for others. Known for her wisdom and gentle guidance, she led by example and touched the lives of many with her compassionate spirit. Above all, she was a devoted wife and mother whose love for her family was evident in everything she did. Her faith, kindness, and steadfast devotion will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her. 

She was preceded in death by her daughters, Shari J. Geisel, and Lori A. Smitter; daughter-in-law, Diane M. Geisel; mother, Dolly Mae Tipton. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 53 years, Pastor John Geisel; son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Angie Geisel; grandchildren, Gideon Geisel, Grace and Gabe Hebert, Alisha, Arianna, and Adalynn Stukey; siblings, Sherry Hewitt, Delores Seymour, David Clark, Linda and Roger Vinkemeier, Peggy and David Handy, Bud and Nancy Tipton; brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-law, Rev. Mart and Christine Geisel, Joanne Kerkstra, Bernie and Pat Geisel, Freda Velzen, Kathy Boelema, Ruth Potts (Jed Enbody), Dorothy and Greg Goff, Rev. Bill and Cynthia Geisel, Helen and Jeff Burman; several loving nieces and nephews. 

A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Jamestown) 2371 Riley St., Hudsonville with Pastor Jim Jeffery officiating. A luncheon will be held immediately following the service. A private family burial has taken place at Jamestown Township Cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Faith Hospice
