Suzanne Kay Lefers

Suzanne Kay (Lowrey) Lefers, age 77, of Wyoming, was called home to be with Jesus surrounded by her family on Saturday, January 7, 2017. Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother with a great sense of humor. Suzanne retired as a court reporter after 30 years of faithful service, most recently from the Kent County Circuit Court. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 18 years, Victor; her children, James Bentz, Deborah and Gerrit Sonke, Melinda and Robert Grove, Kathie and Gordon Kopp, Doug and Liz Bentz, Mark and Michele Lefers, Curtis Lefers, Victoria Baker, Kaylee and Jason Kruizenga; 21 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday 11 am at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating.  Interment Floral View Memorial Gardens.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the funeral home.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. Baldricks Foundation - Research for Childhood Leukemia.
