Susan Gail Boarts

Susan Gail Boarts, age 67, of Belmont, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 19, 2023. Susan was a kind woman with a great sense of humor who loved her Lord with all her heart. She was a proud Majorette and an avid dog-lover. She was preceded in death by her siblings Michael Matthews Sr. Larry Matthews, Judy Stogsdill, Garth Matthews; Siblings-in-law Ken Richer, Denise Richer; and her Son-in-law Ben Smith. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 47 years, Bernard; children Michelle Marie Smith, James Bernard Boarts, Cheryl Lynn (Ken) Barrett, Daniel Ryan Boarts; grandchildren Brittney Smith, Hunter Smith, Deziree (Aaron) Mazure, Shawn McLouth II, Colton McLouth, Ashlyn Barrett, Nathan Barrett, and Pnut; great grandchildren Brantlee Mazure, Jordynn Mazure; sister Diane (Chris) Drayton; mother-in-law, Betty Hansen; siblings-in-law, Carol (Jerry) Skar, Ed (Tina) Boarts, Keith (Melissa) Boarts, Cheryl (Scott) Walker, Debbie Bauer; and many nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog Willy Tucker. Memorial services will be held 11 am Saturday, February 25, 2023 at MKD Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr. NE, Belmont. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday from 10-11 am at MKD Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr. NE, Belmont.
