Thomas Arthur Walker II

Thomas A. Walker II, age 51, of Grand Rapids, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 30, 2026.  He loved cats, and he enjoyed games, especially War Hammer and other board and video games with friends.  He was a faithful employee at Pfeiffer/Lincoln/La Fontaine dealership for over 28 years.  He had a great sense of humor and loved barbequing steak and corn on cob. Most of all, he was a loving son, brother and uncle.

Tom will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Tom and Robin Walker; sister, Cindy and Edward Strickland; nieces and nephew: Charity Walker, Otis Walker, Tatyanna Lawson, Malikia Walker; uncles and aunts: Bill Walker, Reed and Ruth Walker,  Glenn Kroll, Judianne Cole, Lynn Schubert, Fern King; 6 great nieces and nephews; many other relatives and special friends.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Warren Walker, Wilda McClusky, Basil and Anne Schubert; aunts and uncles: Gerald Skutt, Dawn Kroll, Fred and Christy Fuchs, Debbie Schubert, Hank Fields, Lee Schubert, Loretta Manbeck, Pattie and Steve Foster, and Terry Walker.  

Funeral services will be held 11 am on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at MKD Funeral Home, 1601 Post Dr. N.E, Belmont, 49306, with Rev. Jeffrey Halsted officiating.  Burial will be held at Blythefield Memory Gardens.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 10-11 am at  MKD Funeral Home, 1601 Post Dr. N.E, Belmont, 49306.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Corewell Health Hospice.  A special thanks to Tom’s employer and colleagues at La Fontaine and the staff at Corewell Health Hospice for their loving care and compassion during his long illness.
