Sue Warren

Sue Ann Warren, age 86, of Lake Isabella, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, May 11, 2026. She gave her life to Christ at the age of seven and remained steadfast in her faith throughout her life, often saying, “The Lord always has first place.” Sue faithfully served for many years at Our Daily Bread Ministries, where her dedication and compassion touched many lives. She had a special love for children’s ministry and found great reward in nurturing young hearts. Music was a meaningful part of her life, and she especially enjoyed playing the organ and singing with the Sounds of Joy music group. Sue also loved golfing, traveling with her husband, and spending quiet moments reading and participating in her book club.

She will be preceded in death by her loving husband, William S. Warren; parents, William and Zella Vander Markt; sister, Gloria Johnson; stepson, William S. Warren Jr. She is lovingly remembered by her brother-in-law, Delbert Johnson; nieces, Sherri (Dave) Blickley, Marcia (James) Kiszelik, Karen (Randy) Olson, Susan Johnson; stepchildren, Greg (Sandy) Warren, James Warren; eight step grandchildren; many great-nieces and great-nephews. 

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating. The burial will take place at Floral View Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 10-10:45 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice at Trillium Woods or Our Daily Bread Ministries.
