Steven Thatcher

Steven Dale Thatcher, age 75, of Grand Rapids, formerly of Grant and Fremont, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2024. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon; grandson, Colten; parents, Dale and Eleanor Thatcher; and parents-in-law, Harold and Elaine Geers. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Alison and Aaron Adema, Chris and Rachel Thatcher; grandchildren, Gibson, Izy, Olivia, and grand pup Charlie; brothers and sisters, Larry Thatcher, Ellen and Kevin Rambadt and Lynn and Chris Pulling; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Cal and Noni Geers, Dirk and Phyllis Bakhuyzen, Brian and Amy Geers; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A private family burial will be held at Danish Cemetery in Grant. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday, May 16, 2024 from 5-7 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville), 4145 Chicago Dr SW. In honor of Steve, memorial contributions may be made to Northpointe Christian or Unity Christian tuition assistance funds.
