Steven T. Yost

Steven T. Yost, age 52, of Grandville, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2015. He was born December 25, 1962 at McClellan Air Force Base in Sacramento, CA, the son of Thomas F. and Carolyn E. Yost. He is survived by his parents; son, Michael T. Yost; daughter, Kimberly J. Robinson; son-in-law, Joshua Robinson; brother, Brian K. Yost; sister-in-law, Michelle J. Yost; five grandchildren; a nephew and a niece. Steve had a great appreciation for the outdoors and enjoyed camping, hiking, fishing, canoeing, birding and motorcycling. He was especially talented in motorcycle repair, specializing in Hondas. He also was gifted in metal work and inventing small engines. He was an avid reader of history, politics, the U.S. Constitution and nature conservation. He graduated from Grand Valley State University with a degree in biology. At his request, cremation will take place. The family will be honoring Steve’s life with a private service.
