Steven Charles Wait

Steven Wait, age 69, of Hastings, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 3, 2023. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Wait; parents, Chuck and Jane Wait; brother, Jim Wait; father-in-law, Lee Tolan. Steven is survived by his sisters, Cinda and Julie; niece and nephews: Krystal, Jamie, Lyndon Johnson and Kyle. He is also survived by Donna’s family: mother-in-law, Shirley Tolan, sisters-in-law, Barb and Mark Freeman, Diane and Buck Seeley; nieces and nephews: Erin Benjamin (Mike Sackett), Joel (Christine) Freeman, Katie (Brandon) Furtwangler, Mindy (Ryan) Wilson, Darcie (Josh) Hicks, Justin (Aimee) Seeley; many great nieces and nephews. Steve enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing, and playing Euchre. He also was an accomplished woodworker. He will be missed by friends from Canada to Mexico and in between. Due to his wishes, cremation has taken place.
