Stephen Kruis

Stephen Jay Kruis, age 68, of Grandville, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, October 17, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Johanna Kruis. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 39 years, Colleen Kruis; sons, Andrew Kruis and Jason Kruis; sisters Mary Jo and Dennis Schaaf, Esther and Scott Brower; brothers, Jim Kruis, Dave and Pam Kruis; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Steve was a truck driver for 41 years for Spartan Nash. He had his private pilot’s license and would fly as often as he could. Steve’s faith grew stronger through his battle with cancer and he never lost his great sense of humor. A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 24, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Calvary Christian Reformed Church, 3500 Byron Center Ave SW , Wyoming, with Rev. Mark Van Drunen officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday, October 23, from 4-6 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW.
