Stacey Erin Workman, age 55, passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2025, due to brief complications from surgery.

Stacey served as a Senior Compliance Officer at the Edward Jones home office in St. Louis, Missouri, for over 20 years. In 2016, she moved to Holland, Michigan, to begin a new chapter as a Financial Advisor, eventually opening and leading her own Edward Jones branch. She was passionate about her work and dedicated to serving her clients with excellence and care.

Stacey will be remembered as a devoted follower of Christ and a loving, supportive mother. She cherished her relationships and found joy in gardening, sailing, kayaking, and spending time with friends. One of her longtime dreams was to design and build a home – a dream realized this past summer with the completion of a house on the Kalamazoo River. Our family is thankful to have shared special moments with her there.

She was known for her strong work ethic, resilience, kindness, and generosity. In addition to work, her integrity and compassion were evident in every area of her life and are part of the legacy she leaves behind. Stacey brought laughter and warmth to those around her, and memories of her will remain in our hearts forever.

Stacey was predeceased by her father, Joe Carr, and her maternal and paternal grandparents. She is survived by her children, daughter, Laura (fiancé Jonathan Najarian) and son, Blake; her mothers, Elaine King (Tom) and Carolyn Carr; her brothers, Troy (Carrie) Carr and Chris Carr; many beloved nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at Kentwood Christian Church, 5841 Kalamazoo Ave. S.E., Grand Rapids, MI, on Friday, May 23, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. Visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m. prior to the service. A luncheon and time of conversation will follow the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Kentwood Christian Church Benevolence Fund.
