Sidney M. Ellens

Sidney Marvin Ellens, age 86, of Jenison, MI, went to be with his Lord on Monday, July 6, 2020.  “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.” Psalm 116:15.  He was born to Harry and Minnie Ellens in Highland, MI. Sid worked for Besteman Produce for 45 years and after retirement drove a truck for Weller Truck Parts for 13 years.  Sid loved to garden and kept a beautiful lawn.  Sid is lovingly remembered by his wife of  67 years, Agnes (Yonker);  his children and their spouses, David and Pat Ellens, Pat and Don VanderZee, Don and Char Ellens, Rev. Mark and Diane Ellens; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Gord and Judy Ellens.  A private family service will be held at a later date.  Burial Hanley Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Bethany URC Benevolent Fund.
