Sibille “Simone” LaMontagne

​Sibille “Simone” LaMontagne, age 69, of Grandville, beloved wife and mother, went home to be with her Lord, on Saturday, December 23, 2023. Simone was the anchor of her family and her number one priority was being a mom. She was a loving and caring person and would do anything for her family. Simone was a trailblazer, fiercely independent and a trend setter. She was a creator of art, tender to fabulous gardens, and surrogate mother to Nebula, her rambunctious AussieDoodle. She was preceded in death by her mother Doris Metz, father, Charles Duimstra, brothers, Charles Duimstra Jr., David Duimstra; sister, Kimberly Duimstra. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 33 years, Jason LaMontagne; her children, Iris McKillop, Adrian and Jessica Jones, Daniel Jones, Talon and Crystal LaMontagne, Rhema LaMontagne; brother James and Lori Duimstra; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Paul and Mary Way; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Justin and Heidi LaMontagne, Michelle and Kevin Shook; nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
