Shirley Ver Hoeven

Shirley Ann Ver Hoeven, age 89, of Grandville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 29, 2025. She was a charter member of Fellowship Reformed Church and was an original member and resident at Sandy Pines. Shirley enjoyed baking and loved watching and playing tennis. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Edward Ver Hoeven. Shirley will be lovingly remembered by her children, Becky and Del Dozeman, Cindy and Tim Trapp, Tim and Liz Ver Hoeven; grandchildren, Tyler Dozeman, Sammi and Chris Zuverink, Josh Dozeman, Travis and Holly Trapp, Kelly and Eric James, Dominick Ver Hoeven; great grandchildren, Riley James, Maverick Trapp, Carson James; sisters, Arlene, Dianna, and Audrey (all of Washington); and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive SW with Rev. Shawn Hulst officiating. Burial Grandville Cemetery.
