Shirley Van Dyken

Shirley Elaine Van Dyken, age 78, of Hudsonville, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, May 14, 2020.  She was preceded in death by her grandson, Nathan Van Dyken.  Shirley will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 60 years, Gerrit; children, Gerald and Deb Van Dyken, Lynn and Gary McClure, Randall and Dawn Van Dyken, Robert and Libby Van Dyken, Susan and Scott Frank; grandchildren, Ken and Crystal Van Dyken, David and Jackie Van Dyken, Rachel and Kyle Bouwkamp, Tara and Tom LaRoche, Lindsey and Bill Fryling, Jared and Alyssa Roelofs, Tristan and Carly Van Dyken, Cameron, Tessa, Emily, Ryan, Jason Van Dyken, Austin Frank, Aaron and Emily Frank, Allison, Adrian Frank; 19 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Janice Wolters; sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Terrell Tiffany; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Fred and Ruth Brink, Don and Elaine Mulder, Rich and Lynda Van Dyken, Julie Mattson; extended family and friends.  Shirley was a dear wife, mother, and grandmother.  She loved her family, her Lord, and enjoyed all of God’s creation from birds to flowers.  A private graveside service will be held at Jamestown Cemetery with Rev. Matthew Slack officiating.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Hospice of Holland.
