Shirley Keiser

Shirley Arlene Keiser, age 87, of Jenison, was called to her heavenly home on Sunday, March 12, 2023, and now joins her parents and three sisters who preceded her. Shirley was a kind and fun loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who cherished her family. She had a zest for life and a contagious personality. Over the years, many memories were made with family and friends at both Lincoln Lake and on the Muskegon River in Croton. She enjoyed traveling and winters in Florida establishing many friendships there. Above all, her love and devotion to her husband was evident to all who knew her. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband and love of her life of almost 70 years, Roy Keiser; children, Linda and Craig Neitzel, Janice and Maury Dikker, Brenda and Rich Gruszcynski; grandchildren, Erin and Ryan O’Connor, Drew and Kristi Neitzel, Shannon Dikker, Kylie and Gerrid Mouw, Adam Gruszcynski and fiancée, Kayla Weatherwax, Josh Gruszcynski and fiancée, Emma Crumpley; nine great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, John and Connie Nelsen; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Brian and Linda Keiser; several nieces, nephews, and many dear friends. At Shirley’s request cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service will be held at a later date at Graceland Memorial Park. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association or Faith Hospice.
